The TVET Early Childhood Care and Development Education (Level 3) and Supervision (Level 4) programs prepare individuals to provide high-quality care and educational experiences for young children. Covering key areas such as child psychology, health and safety, curriculum planning, and classroom management, these programs emphasize creating nurturing environments that support children’s cognitive, emotional, and social development.
In Malaysia, ECCD focuses on children aged 0-8, categorized into infants (0-12 months), toddlers (1-2 years), and children (3-4 years). The Ministry of Women, Family, and Community Development (MWFCD) oversees programs for the 0-4 age group, ensuring compliance with PERMATA Negara standards. Supported by government initiatives, these programs aim to enhance accessibility and prepare children for healthy development and school readiness.
Graduates are well-equipped for careers in childcare, education, behavior development, and center supervision, contributing to the growth and potential of young learners.
