PR-024-2/3:2012
This program, based on the National Occupational Skills Standards (NOSS), offers two levels:
- Desktop Publishing Artist (Level 2)
- Graphic Design (Level 3)
Graphic design focuses on creating visuals for magazines, advertisements, corporate reports, packaging, and more. As a graphic designer, you’ll develop promotional materials and design company logos and branding. In today’s digital world, skilled designers are in high demand for creating stylish websites, brands, and online ads that attract consumers.
You’ll also learn how to apply your creativity in interactive media and multimedia projects. This course prepares you to create high-quality print and digital designs, equipping you with the skills to excel in the competitive job market.

Assessment & Examination : 100% Coursework
Entry Requirement
- 15 years old and above
- Citizens of Malaysia
- Can read, write and count
- No SPM qualification is required

Semester 1
Students will learn the following subjects
- L2 Cocu 1 – Desktop Publishing Software Installation
- L2 Cocu 2 – Image Editing·
- L2 Cocu 3 – Image Digitalization
- L2 Cocu 4 – Artwork Colour Application
- L2 Cocu 5 – Typesetting
- L2 Cocu 6 – Mockup preparation
Semester 2 & 3
Students will learn the following subjects
- L3 Cocu 1 – Layout Design
- L3 Cocu 2 – Colour Concept Design
- L3 Cocu 3 – Typography Design
- L3 Cocu 4 – Image manipulation
- L3 Cocu 5 – Graphic Illustration
- L3 Cocu 6 – Final Artwork(FA) Confirmation
- L3 Elektif 1 – Computer Software & Hardware Troubleshooting
